Dona Nobis Pacem - an example of a Canon

A canon is a piece of music that has similar musical segments (you can imagine them as sentences or phrases) that repeat in rounds. The most famous would probably be "Canon in D" by Johann Pachelbel.

In the video below, the music is "Dona Nobis Pacem", a Latin song that has 3 musical segments. The little coloured circles represent the pitch of each tune. The higher they go, the higher the pitch. Can you see how the three segments come together to form the canon?
